Case Study
A region aimed to develop a climate strategy that is both effective and also enjoys broad public support. Over the course of 24 hours, 50 citizens representative of the entire region worked together as “experts of their unique daily life” to envision a desired future and develop concrete pathways for making this climate-neutral future a reality. Following an intense negotiation process, a bold plan was agreed upon collectively including tough restrictions in particularly socially in order to support the powerful vision. This created a clear guiding framework and strong mandate for tough decisions for the experts in the administration to develop the region’s climate strategy.
